World Bank Support Mission paid visit to West Bengal on 31-05-2011 to review the progress of implementation of Revival Package for STCCS. In this connection the team visited two District Central Co-operative Banks namely, Hooghly DCCB Ltd. and Burdwan DCCB Ltd. and also a few PACS functioning under those two DCCBs.
On 01-06-2011 the said World Bank Team conducted a ‘Wrap-up Meeting’ at the Regional Office, NABARD, Kolkata along with the Secretary to the Government of West Bengal, Co-operation Department, Registrar of Co-operative Societies, West Bengal, Chairman and Managing Director of The West Bengal State Co-operative Bank Ltd. and other Officials of the Co-operation Department, Co-operation Directorate and The WBSCB Ltd. The said World Bank Team expressed their satisfaction in the matter of progress of implementation of Revival Package for STCCS.
