Mission  and  vision  of the Department  as well as  Cooperation Directorate  is the promotion  of the  idea  of  cooperative  among the people as much as  possible  by taking part  in the major  development oriented activities of the Government. The Department  contributes in issuing  KCC Loan, development in agricultural activity through  RKVY, RIDF, empowering women by forming SHG ,Mahila Cooperative and  the  other activity like distribution of pump set in drought prone areas, distribution of fertiliser, agriculture equipments etc.

It is also noteworthy that with the changing vision of the Department the Annual Budget of the department is also showing a steep upward curve.

The matters relating to planning and development, research and evaluation, collection and preparation of Data Bank with respect to the development, performances and achievements of the Cooperative Societies, in state are being regularly registered and monitored  with the officers under control of the Registrar of Cooperative Societies  and  the  the regular  report  return  from the field  shows an enthusiastic statistics for the department.
